Columbia Delegation attends Lavender Law

Columbia sent eight (8) students to this year's Lavender Law Conference, held from September 3rd - September 6th at the Hyatt Embracadero in San Francisco, CA. Over the course of the four day conference, students attended a career fair, panel discussions presided over by preeminent LGBT legal scholars, and attended workshops aimed at improving the quality of LGBT lawyering.
The conference also saw the release of legal scholarship by recent Columbia Law graduate Adam Pulver. His article, “Gay Blood Revisionism: A Critical Analysis of Advocacy and the ‘Gay Blood Ban'", received First place awards at the 2007 NLGLA Conference in Chicago, was published in the Fall Volume of the Journal of Law and Sexuality at Tulane University Law School.
Our thanks go out to the Solomon Amelioration Committee for making our Lavender Law Trip possible!
